Every strange, brilliant idea
deserves a real book.
Bright Oddity Press is an independent publisher of smart, funny, unusual books made with an unreasonable amount of care. We're not built around a genre. We're built around the idea that's too good, or too strange, for anyone else to have made yet.
Gen Alpha-Bet!
A translation guide for the linguistically cooked: one slang word, six generations, several increasingly concerned adults.
Turn a manuscript into an audiobook, on your own computer.
Audiobook Studio is a free, open-source app that narrates a finished manuscript with AI voices. No subscription, no per-word bill.
Some books fit neatly into categories. We like the other ones.
Bright Oddity Press creates carefully written, designed, and produced books built around ideas we wish already existed. The genre changes from book to book. The care doesn't.
