Task Orchestration
The orchestrator owns background work: it submits, schedules, cancels, and recovers tasks.
At a glance
- A
StudioTaskabstraction with task types. - Submit / cancel / recover operations.
- Policies, resources, and recovery rules.
- A job-handler registry.
Tasks & jobs
Work is modeled as tasks with explicit types. The orchestrator turns them into queued jobs and runs them under scheduling policies that respect engine resources.
Recovery
Recovery is built in. After a restart, the orchestrator reconciles what's done against what's expected and resumes. A job-handler registry maps job kinds to their handlers. See Progress Services and Artifacts, Reuse & Recovery.
