Audiobook Studio 2.0 docs

Headless & LAN Exposure

You can run Studio on a machine and reach it from elsewhere, just secure it first.

At a glance
  • Serve on a LAN address.
  • Secure the gateway with a key + rate limits.
  • Reverse-proxy notes.

Serving on a LAN

Bind to a network address to reach Studio from other devices. Doing so exposes it beyond localhost, so treat security as mandatory.

Securing it

Require the API key, apply per-IP rate limits, and consider a reverse proxy with TLS. See Authentication & Rate Limiting.
